NordGen Plants Head Office is situated in Alnarp, Sweden , and has several own facilities:

Seed laboratory & the active Seed Storafe – Seed transactions and seeds are quality test are carried out here. Responsible: Simon Jeppson, simon.jeppson@nordgen.org

In vitro & molecular laboratory – Plant material is examined with DNA analyses and in vitro cultures are maintained here. Responsibe: Agnese Kolodinska Brantestam, agnese.kolodinska@nordgen.org

Fields & Greenhouses – Through a collaboration between Trådgårdslaboratoriet, SLU and Nordgen we gain access to several fields and greenhouses used for regeneration, rejuvenation and documentation. Responsible: Svein Oivind Solberg, svein.solberg@nordgen.org

NordGen Plants
is the Nordic Genetic Resource Center for cultivated plants. We work with conservation and sustainable use of cultivated plants and their wild relatives. This includes both conserving the seeds, supplying researchers and others with seeds and their data as well as general information work about the value and importance of plant genetic resources.
