The forest section of the Nordic Genetic Resource Centre – NordGen Forest – and partners are happy to invite you to a Nordic forest conference in September 2022.  

NordGen Forest is a joint Nordic forum for researchers, practitioners, forest managers and policy makers. Our aim is to connect people and disseminate knowledge through conferences and thematic days, as well as through other information and public awareness work. Our main topics are establishment of forest and adaptation to climate change, plants and seed production and breeding, as well as management of forest genetic diversity.  

NordGen Forest turned 50 years in 2020. Through two years of corona and shut down, we have been waiting to celebrate with you in person. We are looking forward to seeing you at the conference and are very happy to invite you for a postponed celebrational dinner in the evening of the conference, on 27 September. 

Presentations will be held in English by speakers from the whole Nordic region and beyond. The conference, Scoping our forests for the future, is open to a wide audience.
