Senior Scientist for NordGen Farm Animals

To strengthen the NordGen Farm Animals Section, we are now looking for a Senior Scientist with a research background in animal genetic resources. To succeed in the role, you need to have worked with genetics and/or breeding and have an interest of developing sustainable conservation plans for our Nordic native breeds. You will be part of strengthening the research field of NordGen Farm Animals and promote the strategic target of conserving and promoting a sustainable use of the farm animal genetic resources in the Nordic region. Some of your tasks will involve finding new cooperation opportunities, start and lead new projects, communicate and give lectures and network in a both Nordic and International environment.
