About the conference
The conference will bring together leading researchers, decision-makers, and young scientists to safeguard the seeds and crop diversity that are essential for future food security.
Plant genetic resources are the foundation of climate-resilient and nutritious crops, yet they are still not fully used. By connecting researchers, plant breeders, policymakers and industry from the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe, the event will strengthen collaboration and accelerate the development of crops that can support sustainable farming, healthy diets and long-term resilience for future generations.

- One health: resilience and preparedness in agrifood systems provided by plant genetic resources for food and agriculture
- Conservation of plant genetic resources: AI, new trends and techniques
- Pre-breeding: linking genetic resources to plant breeding
